Mixed Billing Fee Schedule – 1st January 2022
We value all our patients and aim to provide you with a high quality level of medical care.
Unfortunately, the amount set by the Government for a medical consultation is insufficient to cover the costs of providing a high quality medical service under the current Bulk Billing system.
As a result Bay Village Medical Centre has made the difficult decision to introduce private fees for some patients.

Bulk Billing – Monday to Friday
We Bulk Bill patients with a valid:
- Pension Card | Healthcare Card | Senior Healthcare Card
- Children aged 0-16 years with a Medicare Card
- Secondary school students aged 16-18 years with a Medicare Card and Student ID.
In special circumstances your doctor may choose to bulk bill you – Please discuss with your doctor.

Bulk Billing – Saturdays
We Bulk Bill the following patients:
- Children aged 0-16 years with a valid Medicare Card
- Secondary school students aged 16-18 years with a valid Medicare Card and Student ID.
